Internships

The IT Internship program provides technologists with the opportunity to receive no-cost instruction in the IT discipline of their choosing. In exchange for this training students use their newly acquired skills to help further the mission of Pass IT On by assisting with the day to day activities of the organization and by helping to lead our outreach programs. Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

 

  • Learning and developing skills in information technology to include computer hardware, operating system, networking, programming, Cyber Security, Database Administration, Web Design and Development.

  • Developing skill to communicate with IT professional and customers in a corporate environment.

  • Performing maintenance and upkeep of the organizations website (design and content).

  • Assisting in the development and delivery of technology training curriculum and courses.

  • Building and refurbish desktop and laptop computers for donation to local schools and community centers.

  • Assisting with the design, implementation and maintenance of networked computer labs at community partner sites.

  • Providing PC maintenance and repair services to partner sites.

  • Creating proposals for future community IT projects and outreach programs.

  • Assisting with the organizations marketing and recruitment efforts.
